The Maje Fall 2011 Collection is wonderful to browse (and shop of course). The cuts are feminine with beautiful silhouettes that boast structure and grace. They’re also very timeless in a way. Not in-your-face trendy, if you know what I mean.
Usually not a big fan of gif photos, but how can I not love these? They’re sparkly (in a good way) and very galactic – which I love. The fantasy element in them is fantastic.

This week has been a bright and sunny one. And on Monday, it looked like summer (but felt like winter), so I decided to wear a yellow scarf to brighten up my kind of boring outfit of navy pants and tan cardigan. Seen here is my trusty Tod’s D-bag from 2006. Classics never go out of style.
PS. How do you like my colleague Suad’s black satchel? She’s a super talented graphic designer and this bag is perfect for the laptop and paperwork she has to carry around.

These are the people who aren't waiting to reinvent the world. FORBES, leaning on the wisdom of its readers and the greatest minds in business, presents the 30 disrupters under 30, in each of 12 fields, making a difference right now.
I am COMPLETELY and UTTERLY inspired by Forbes’ recent compilation of 30 Under 30 lists.
I’ve tweeted about this a number of times over the past couple of days, but I’m posting it here to give people who haven’t visited Forbes or read my tweets a chance to see them.

I MUST try this Ombre manicure, seen at the Parkmoonchoo Fall 2011 show. As I’ve said before, I’m not a big fan of wearing trendy or unusual nail polish, but I’m willing to reconsider it now that I’ve seen this!
Getting this look is really easy:
You'll need three nail polishes: nude, a dark shade, and a clear topcoat. Start by painting your nails with the nude color and let them dry completely. Working one nail at a time, paint a thick layer of clear topcoat over the nude, and while the topcoat is still wet use short strokes to paint the dark color along the tip of the nail. Lay on the dark paint thickly. The color should run into the clear coat. Let nails dry completely and finish with another layer of clear topcoat.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to an event called Pretty Little Things. When there, I finally got to see and try Green Bar products, which I had read about and heard of.
Green Bar is a Bahrain based beauty brand created by Reem Al-Khalifa that’s all natural.
Honestly, I usually don’t make that much of an effort to buy natural products – I buy products based on their effectiveness regardless of how “chemical” they are.
However, once I took a look at Reem’s gorgeous skin, I knew I had to have what she’s having! She swears by the tiny tube of Face Elixir (which sold out at the event) and Rose Water as a natural toner.
I got both and I must say they are amazing! The Turkish Rose Water smells like a really strong “Turkish delight” (its scent lingers for hours) and I use it after I wash my face at night. The Face Elixir – which is an oil - smells light and moisturizes my skin without leaving an oily trace.
To find out more about Green Bar, read the interview with Reem Al-Khalifa.

When I first saw this look, it instantly reminded me of autumn. The hair, sweater, boots, everything.. It’s not why I like the outfit – I like it because of how put together it looks… (and I never thought I could ever like cargo pants)!

I am in L-O-V-E with these behind the scenes photos of Alexander McQueen RTW Spring 12 show. The dresses and the whole art direction is insanely good! Sara Burton is a genius (finally hopping onto the bandwagon).
Burton had actually looked to the sea as inspiration. Coral, sea creatures, waves are just some of the inspirations behind her collection.
In my eyes though, I see the models as these fantastical, whimsical creatures from another planet. A planet full of different minerals and rocks and crystals and floating plants that look like lace. Getting carried away…
God, how I love when fashion is as brilliant as this!

It is officially winter in Kuwait. The weather is freezing at night, and in the early mornings, but perfectly chill in the afternoons. So naturally, everyone is wearing winter’s finest and getting bundled up under layers and layers of clothing. It was also the perfect time to take outfit photos of the girls at the office.
Don’t you just love The Outnet’s packaging? I absolutely adore the stickers they stick onto the white wrapping paper!
