Evian by Christian Lacroix

My first purchase this year was a box of Evian water. Usually, we buy local Kuwaiti-produced water, but this time was different.

This time, it was Christian Lacroix, people! Christian Lacroix!! The French designer created limited edition bottles for French water-producing company Evian "Pour les fétes"- translation for the celebrations/holidays. I think the idea was absolutely genius! There's a pret-a-porter bottle, and a couture bottle. Personally, I prefer the pret-a-porter one. It's so pretty (inspired by snowflakes and winter) and delicate.

At KD 15 (US$ 55), a box - 12 bottles total - it sure wasn't a cheap expense. But who could resist a bottle as beautiful and decadent as this? I've already got two bottles decorating my nightstand.

I can't wait until we finish all the bottles. I'm thinking of different ideas on how to use them. I'll post pictures of all the ways I used the bottles.

Even the box is pretty!

I see pretty bottles..

Up close.. God I just love them!
